ORANGE PEEL
ORANGE PEEL is a hybrid documentary film that tells the story about Chiara and her twin sister Rachele. The film is based on a letter/poem that Chiara wrote to her sister and conversations they had about their relationship. Chiara wanted to give people an inside view on what it’s like having a twin sister, someone you’ve shared your whole life with.
For this work she experimented with the use of different cameras and mediums. This work is a combination of Super 8 BW-film, mini-DV tapes and archive material from her childhood.
